Atomineer Pro Documentation (Trial)
===================================

Due to changes introduced in Visual Studio 2015 and Atmel Studio 7, it is
necessary to provide a number of Atomineer installers. All installed versions
will automatically share preferences and customisations.

The installers in this zip archive are as follows:

    VS 2015-2017\AtomineerProDocumentation.vsix
        Double click to install or update Atomineer for Visual Studio 2015 & 2017

    VS 2005-2013 + Atmel 5-6\AtomineerUtilsSetup.exe
        Double-click to install or update Atomineer for
        - Visual Studio 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 & 2013
        - Atmel Studio versions 5.x and 6.x

    Atmel 7\AtomineerProDocumentation.vsix
        Double click to install or update Atomineer for Atmel Studio 7.x
        (Please note that this vsix intentionally does not have a
        digital signature for compatability reasons)

        If the install fails with the error "This extension is not installable
        on any currently installed products" (in particular after installing Visual
        Studio 2017) then you may need to manually run the Atmel version of the
        VSIX installer, as follows:
          - From your Start menu, run the "Atmel Studio 7.0 Command Prompt"
          - Execute: VSIXInstaller.exe AtomineerProDocumentation.vsix
            (where the parameter is the full pathname to your Atomineer installer
            for Atmel 7). This should then install correctly.

Uninstalling your trial version
===============================

When the time comes to uninstall your trial version, the process is quick and easy:
* For Visual Studio 2005-2013, please go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  Finding the Atomineer entry and double click it to run the uninstaller.

* For Visual Studio 2015 and 2017, Atomineer must be uninstalled using Visual Studio's
  built-in Extension manager. In Visual Studio, go to Tools > Extensions and Updates
  and find the Atomineer entry. Click it to select it, and an Uninstall button will
  appear - click this button and then restart Visual Studio to complete the process.
